Article Retraction Policies
Infringements of professional ethical codes, such as multiple submission, bogus claims of authorship, plagiarism, fraudulent use of data or the like. Occasionally a retraction will be used to correct errors in submission or publication. The retraction of an article by its authors or the editor under the advice of members of the scholarly community has long been an occasional feature of the learned world. Standards for dealing with retractions have been developed by a number of library and scholarly bodies, and this best practice is adopted for article retraction by the journal.
- Retracted by Author: as per above condition if the author found any issue after submission or publication in the article so the author can request to journal for retract article under journal policies.
- Retracted by the Journal: as per above condition if journal admin/ editors found any issue as mention above after publication of the article so journal retracts the article under journal Policies.
- Retraction Form: If the authors wish to retract article from a journal, the authors need to submit an “Article Retraction Form" signed by all authors (or) the corresponding author of the manuscript for manuscript retraction. Download the form
- Steps of Retraction
- A retraction note titled “Retraction/ self-retraction: [article title, author name]” signed by the authors and/or the editor submitted to the journal. Download retraction note
- In the electronic version, a link is made to the original article.
- The online article is preceded by a screen containing the retraction note.
- The original article is retained unchanged save for a watermark on the .pdf indicating on each page that it is “retracted/ self- retracted.”
